Moving to and how is life as a woman in Bahrein? (Manama)

Hi all, we think about to move to Bahrein, since my husband might have the opportunity to work for the big bridge between Bahrein and Qatar. I am very interested in living experiences of people from Europe, especially of women. I have a 13 months old son, am veterinarian, we are German and live in Vancouver since 1 1/2 year, which has a quite high living quality and we are kind of sad to leave.
