Meeting new people.... (Manchester)

My wife and I have been living back here in the UK for 4 years now and have a good group of friends and relatives but it would be nice to meet a few more people around Manchester as that's where i currently work.

Im from New Zealand so it would be good to meet a few more Kiwis / Aussies in the area but anyone from any background would be great.
