The Philippine Italian Association, in cooperation with the Tanghalang Pilipino Foundation and the Cultural Center of the Philippines, is very proud to present the Premiere performance of the multi-awarded steampunk musical, Mabining Mandirigma, at the CCP Little Theater on Friday the 2nd of December, Protected content 8:00 PM.

Mabining Mandirigma, the Gentle Hero, a modern musical conceptualized by Tanghalang Pilipino was created to celebrate the 150th birthday of our national hero, Apolinario Mabini, who history books have taught us was also known as the Sublime Paralytic.

Written by Nicanor Tiongson and directed by Chris Millado, it underlines important themes such as integrity, love of country and intellectual heroism, relevant to our countrymen within the context of our history. It was immediately perceived as a masterpiece earning 12 out of 13 awards at the Gawad Buhay Awards in Protected content .
