Emails from alchemy bistro (Manila)

Why am I getting emails from alchemy, the recent venue for the parties? I never gave my permission to be added to their mailing list, and Internations privacy page is explicit:

InterNations uses Personal Data solely to provide the User with the InterNationsServices. InterNations will never rent, sell, or otherwise provide Personal Data to any third party for advertising or for marketing purposes without the User’s consent.

I asked a friend, he confirms he also got the emails. Worse yet, they don't even have a proper newsletter platform with an unsubscribe option, which is actually illegal in some countries like Australia.

What's the deal?
