Getting value in Borocay (Manila)

thinking of going to Borocay?

Want a happy medium between luxury and budget?

The packages offered don't give you much time . 3 days 2 nights if often 1 and a half days depending on your flight times. Extending your stay is expensive9relatively for what you get)

You may wish to try a 5day 4night trip with a package like

Protected content

6, Protected content 2 nights free breakfast and dinner
( There are packages which include airfare for an extra P2, Protected content you can book promo fares on line with cebu pacific or similar (..Zest or air phils express)

and add 2 nights at another hotel

Protected content (2,200/ night)

Both these hotels are walking distance to D'Mall ( in the middle) at station 2

If not eating the free dinner of the package you can try the talipapa to avoid the expensive restaurants

( compare with what they ask on the beach front and you will understand)

If you can take the trouble to visit the local public market where the seafood is cheaper AND IF you look local or the vendors are feeling happy and give you the local prices without the hassle of bargaining and IF you can be bothered to take the trip you may save a little but frankly its not worth it if your not buying a LOT of food. You may want to just for the experience.

For those budget times try the deli also near the D'Mall and take out bread 9 if u cant get it from the hotel free buffet :))and stuff to make sandwiches
