I am Steven Borowski, an American Expatriate here in the Philippines since Protected content . My family and I are Typhoon Yolanda survivors (Tacloban City). I joined this InterNations in the hope of being able to get some advice on obtaining a Bank Loan to help recover from the devastation to my Home. I have been to a number of banks here and EVEN WITH proof of a small pension (Social Security), Property Title for collateral, and marriage to a Filipino, I have been turned down at every point. I am not asking for a lot...$6-$ Protected content about P300,000 in the local currency depending on the exchange rate. Any advice on Who or Where and How to approach the local lending institutions would be appreciated. Thanks.
