Job Search and Visa regulation (Miami)

Hi guys,
I am in South Florida since December. After reaching my bachelor´s degree I decided to gain international experience and moved here. Despite the economic situation I intend to apply for a job. In advance I would like to get myself familiar with VISA regulation and so on.

Anyone with hints for me concerning job search and VISA?
And anyone to fancy aget-together for a Happy Hour? :-)
