Looking for community (Montevideo)

I retired from public school teaching Protected content ago. My wife and I visited Montevideo last fall and fell in love with it. A move is now a serious option for us.

Questions:

1. What are the opportunities as a teacher/educator to find work - even part time - I hold an active teaching certificate from GA, but I doubt that would mean much. I will be 70 in March.

2. Needed volunteer possibilities? Both of us are quite active.

3. Options for church community.

Lot of basic questions and would love to have someone with the time to talk.
