Hello to all Americans in Nicosia! Are you interested in getting to know fellow expats in Nicosia? There’s no doubt about it: Nicosia is a unique place to call home. The capital of Cyprus is a divided city known for not only being the commercial and political hub of Cyprus, but also for its local cuisine, museums, historic sites, and much more! With the regular bus services, navigating your way around the city from one place to the next is simple. This also means that if you don’t want to live among the hustle and bustle of the center, you can enjoy a quieter life in Archaggelos or Makedonitissa, for example, which are less than half an hour away from Nicosia’s center.
