The Czech League American Football season kicks off this weekend with the successful Prague Blackhawks again fielding a strong squad with some star ex-pat imports drafted in key positions.
In the first game of the season the Blackhawks play Brno Alligators, beginning their campaign after a championship winning season last year with some star American imports from college football on their roster.
DeVere Group’s Prague office have a number of colleagues in the squad, including Andre Whyte a 23 year old semi-pro New Yorker, returning for his second season at ‘strong safety’ and occasional receiver roles for the offence; David Ralphs from the UK debuting for the Blackhawks at ‘linebacker’ after a long career on the European scene, and Charles Freeman, another American ex pat of proven ability returning to grid iron after a sabbatical away from the game.
The game is scheduled to kick off at 14.00hrs on Sunday, finishing around 17.00 hrs.
The location is the track and field stadium facility at Bruslarska 10, Praha Hostivar.

If the weather is anything like last weekend it should be an excellent way to spend Sunday afternoon, particularly if there’s a good turn out from Internation members and friends from the ex-pat community.
Please pass this circular on to others in your network who might be interested in this Sunday social/sporting event.
