RAK Goes Pink - 2015 Edition (Ras Al-Khaimah)

AL MARJAN ISLAND BREAST CANCER AWARENESS DAY!

The RAK Goes Pink Committee and Al Marjan Island Management are happy to invite you to our Breast Cancer Awareness Day on Friday October 23, Protected content . Placed under the Patronage of the Ministry of Health (Ras-al-Khaimah) with the support of major organizations in RAK, we are joining hands to support and promote the 2nd edition of the RAK Goes Pink initiative in the emirate.

When: 23rd of October Protected content

WHERE: Al Marjan Island – Parking opposite of DoubleTree by Hilton Resort & Spa

TIME: 8am (Registration will be from 7:00am – 7:45am)

REGISTRATION FEE*: Adults – AED 25; Children (under 12 years) - AED 10.
* Includes pink-ribbon & refreshments.

T-SHIRTS: Our pink t-shirts will be on sale @ AED 25

We want to help spread awareness on breast cancer and encourage regular check-ups and healthy lifestyle. The total distance is 6.5km however you don’t really need to walk the whole distance. We are starting from the Al Marjan Island car park opposite the DoubleTree by Hilton hotel going towards the Marjan Island Resort & Spa and back. There will be 2 turning points at 2.5km & 3.5km for those who cannot manage long distances. You can run, jog or simply walk.
