Hiking Teresopolis, Sat 23rd (Rio de Janeiro)

We plan another hike in Teresopolis on 23rd of August. I would like to meet with the participants a couple of days before to discuss the details, probably in Leme. We also could make 2 groups in case some people dont want to walk for 9 hours.

Here are the details:
We leave Rio (Copacabana) around 7am and return back at 8 pm
distance: 26 km
Protected content altitude difference (trail starts at Protected content , the summit has around Protected content
not very difficult but long
walking time around 9 hours
there is one trail only, we walk it up and back the same way, absolutley no chance to get lost
the national park is controlled by IBAMA, there will be an entrance fee of around 12 R$

You will need:
flash light
good shoes
sun cream
something against moquitos (just in case)
2 liters of water
some sandwiches
a jacket or pullover, at the summit it is sometimes a bit windy
