Study Portuguese (Rio de Janeiro)

Hi.
I'm currently a working person from Sweden who tries to find different ways to study Portuguese in Brazil.
Is there anyone here with any experience in mentioned mathers ?
I have family living in MG and Rio.
I do understand most of the language but I need to put my understanding to words.
Any help is appreciated.
