3G internet - heck that's expensive! (Singapore)
I want to get internet on my mobile while I'm in Singapore for a few days, so I looked around at pre-paid. The figures I saw were 1.1c per KB straight up, and 0.2c/KB on some kind of a plan.
So that's... $10 per MB and $2 per MB. The 1GB usage you're typically allowed on a 3G plan in other countries would work out at between $200 and $ Protected content . Wow.
Okay, okay, I know there's the Wireless@SG network, and I'll sign up for that when I get a local SIM.
But I'll be at a conference on Sentosa, and not sure if I'll get Wireless@3G covers there. And I'm still wondering - am I missing something about 3G pricing?
