How to create a more eco friendly Singapore

There is so much media coverage about environment nowadays, not only in Singapore but also all over the world. But what can we do as a individual? What are our responsibilities? Environment is one issue that we are affected by. It doesn't hurt to make a simple contribution to the environment. Pick up a piece of trash and throw it into the bin. If everybody did that, what a better world we will live in. So I urge all of us to make a contribution, post your ideas and suggestions on how to create a more eco friendly Singapore.
