The translation company Connection Group, Ltd together with producer centre"ARTPLUS" declare the beginning of the competition "Translator of technical texts Protected content .

The purpose of the competition: improvement of quality of technical translation.

Venue: Russian Federation and the CIS countries.

Participation conditions:

For participation in the competition it is necessary to be registered by phone Protected content by e-mail Protected content . The co-ordinator of the competition takes stock of the participants on behalf of the Organizers, supervises over the process of gathering and storage of necessary documentsbefore Competition summarising. Participants of the competition carry out thetask for translation of the technical text and hand it over not later than еру date of the end of the competitionto the co-ordinator of the competition by e-mail.

The text for translation:

The text for translation is an extract of the technical text in English, in which certain technological processes or principles of work are described, there is a corresponding terminology in the text.

Requirements to participants of the Competition:

- Age from 18

- The resume with denotation of work experience, education and the contact data of the established sample which will be mailed on demand to each potential participant.

Competition schedule:

Competition is declared to be open on May, 6th, Protected content . From this day registration ofparticipants begins. All registered participants receive the text for translation by e-mail or download it from the site of the organizer of the competition of Connection Group, Ltd Protected content

Finished translations are received only by e-mail Protected content till September, 30th, Protected content .

The estimation of results is held since October, 1st till December, 1st, Protected content . Thewinner is declared not later than on 31st of December, Protected content

Jury

The commission of skilled translators of the bureau of technical translations of Connection Group, Ltd will estimate results of the Competition.

Winner's identification:

Judgesdecide on the winner under following criteria:

- Exact use of terminology in the translation text

-Grammatical accuracy

-Understanding of the process described in the original text and verbal accuracyin the text of translation

- Punctuationand spelling.

Переводческая компания «'Коннекшн Групп» совместно с продюсерским центром «ART PLUS» объявляют начало конкурса 'Технический переводчик Protected content .
Цель конкурса: повышение качества технического перевода.
Место проведения: Российская Федерация и страны СНГ.
Условия участия
Для участия в конкурсе необходимо зарегистрироваться по телефону Protected content по электронной почте Protected content . Координатор конкурса от лица Организаторов ведет учет участников, руководит процессом сбора и хранения необходимых документов до подведения итогов Конкурса. Участники конкурса выполняют задание на перевод технического текста и сдают его не позднее даты завершения конкурса координатору конкурса по электронной почте.
Текст для перевода:
Текст для перевода – это отрывок технического текста на английском языке, в котором описаны некие технологические процессы или принципы работы механизма, в тексте присутствует соответствующая терминология.
Требования к участникам Конкурса
- Возраст от 22 до 35 лет
- Резюме с указанием опыта работы, образования и контактных данных установленного образца, который будет отправлен по запросу на почту каждому потенциальному участнику.
Сроки проведения конкурса:
Конкурс объявляется открытым 6 мая Protected content . С этого дня начинается регистрация участников. Все зарегистрированные участники получают текст для перевода по электронной почте, либо скачивают его с сайта организатора конкурса ООО «Коннекшн Групп» Protected content
Готовые переводы принимаются только по электронной почте Protected content до 30 сентября Protected content .
Оценка результатов проводится с 1 октября по 1 декабря Protected content . Победитель объявляется не позднее 31 декабря Protected content .
Жюри
Оценивать результаты Конкурса будет комиссия опытных переводчиков бюро технических переводов ООО «Коннекшн Групп».
Определение победителя
Победитель конкурса выявляется членами жюри по следующим критериям:
- Точное использование терминологии в тексте перевода
- Грамматическая точность
- Понимание процесса, описанного в тексте оригинала и точная передача его в тексте перевода
- пунктуация и орфография
