Need lots of information right before moving (Strasbourg)

Dear Friends Salut,

My dearest friend received a job offer in Strasbourg. This requires for her to move here. She lives in the UK.
She’s swamped with the workload already. I jumped in for her to get your qualty help.
1) Accommodation
Is it easy to find a one bedroom apartment? What would be the average monthly rent cost?
Do we need to find an agency for the renting procedure since we’ve been told that the landlords might not choose to communicate in English. (And my friend doesn’t speak French yet, however intending to take courses, certainly)
2) Salary and tax
How much tax would be there for an annual income less than 100K and/or above?
3) Monthly living cost
How much on the average a monthly cost for a vegetarian living?
Also, monthly electricity, heating, internet, mobile, water costs?
4) Average Monthly transportation cost?

Anything I didn’t ask but should have, please feel free to mention.
