Swedish Film Festival 10-14 September in Sydney, Hayden Orpheum Picture Palace in Cremorne

Swedish Film Festival in Melbourne, Canberra and Sydney 29 August Protected content and in Auckland in October Protected content

The Swedish Film Festival is the first of its kind in Australia and will showcase a broad mix of old and new Swedish films - films for the whole family. The festival will continue to New Zealand and will be shown in Auckland in October Protected content Swedish Style New Zealand.

The opening night film will be 'Suddenly' (Underbara Älskade), starring Michael Nyqvist, from the Oscar nominated film 'As it is in Heaven'.

Other films include;

'Darling' - 'Heartbreak Hotel' - 'Iskariot' -
'To Love Someone (Den man älskar)
'You the Living' - (Du levande)

and two childrens' films,
'Pirret' and 'Spökdags'

as well as a classical film, the Protected content Swedish version of 'Intermezzo' with Ingrid Bergman.
