Destination Manager Position (Tallinn)

We are a thriving US-based boutique travel company, specializing in Central and Eastern Europe. We have recently added the Baltic region to the destinations we offer on our website: Protected content With our first guests arriving this year, we are now hiring for the position of Destination Manager responsible for specifically Finland, Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania, and to be based in Tallinn. The key attributes we're looking for are:

Knowledge of the destinations
Experience of traveling throughout the Baltic states

Enthusiastic about leisure and travel in general, from active pursuits
to gastronomy

The role of a destination manager begins before a guest arrives. It will be your job to contact the guest prior to their arrival to finalize trip travel times and arrange any additional services they may wish to add to their trip, as well as answer any questions they may have. When a guest arrives in Tallinn you will meet with them to welcome them and provide them their info pack and a local cellphone. While a guest is traveling with us this local cellphone is for them to contact you in the event they need help with anything or have questions.

Besides direct guest interaction a very important part of a destination manager's job is in developing and researching the destinations in the region, finding new tours and experiences and improving the level of information we provide guests. As part of the training you will be required to travel to each of the capital cities to become familiar with the accommodations we have partnered with and to meet our local tour & transfer providers.

We offer an attractive salary which is augmented by tips from guests. There is also regional travel required as part of the job as well as our pre-season and post-season team meetings, held in various places around Europe.
