Living in Torrance

Torrance is located in the South Bay area of Los Angeles County in California, and is known for its long stretch of beaches. Nicknamed ‘T Town’, the city has plenty to offer and expats living in Torrance will be able to enjoy sights such as Wilson Park which has a wide range of facilities for picnics as well as many sports facilities. Torrance Beach is a particularly popular place for residents to visit and is located between the Palos Verdes Peninsula and Santa Monica Bay. Expatriates living in Torrance will also be able to experience attractions such as the Del Amo Fashion Center, which is one of the largest malls in the US, the Torrance Cultural Arts Center, the Torrance Art Museum and many others. The city benefits from a number of bars and restaurants as well as a strong Japanese scene because of the many Japanese businesses which have a presence in the area.
