Venting about Spam and Membership (Ulaanbaatar)

This is now the third time I've received spam/scam private messages from InterNations. Annoying, considering how easy it should be to prevent that kind of thing from a membership based online community. Makes me even more reluctant to consider paying for a membership that allows more use of the website's services. Paying for access to social media networks in this day and age seems so out of touch anyhow.
