Free German Classes for Austrian Citizens? (Vienna)

Greetings,
I am in the process of moving to Europe and have heard that Austrian universities offer free German classes for Austrian citizens. Is this correct? Can anyone advise how I can sign up for those German courses?
I will be living in either Vienna or Salzburg.
Any advice is greatly appreciated.
