Free Teacher Training for Volunteer Program (Washington, D.C.)

Global Language Network is a non-profit program with a free training session with the executive director, Andrew Brown, coming up this Sunday. If you would like to attend this or a future session, please email your resume to Protected content .

GLN's training is always free and all native speakers are welcome. Teaching in GLN's program is a great way to gain professional teaching experience in a fun environment with speakers of many global languages.

Teaching with GLN also allows you to take languages including English for free during the semester in which you teach.

The session is this weekend: Sunday, February 9th from 10 AM to 4 PM.

The location of the training is GLN's office at Protected content Ave NW, Suite Protected content Floor) Washington DC Protected content located near the Dupont Circle metro station. Street parking on Sundays is free.

GLN is a unique and inviting community as you will learn by attending our teacher training. We will provide a light meal during training and so we ask you to please notify us of any dietary restrictions by completing the RSVP form.

Upcoming Spring classes will meet once per week for six weeks beginning in mid-March with up to two optional makeup lessons that you can use if you need to postpone class for any reason. We ask for a consistent weekly commitment to your class(es) each week, but we schedule your weekly class or classes according to your convenience within our framework of classes.
