A hundred walked out of my lecture . . .
Can I get some education on the Koran please ?
Provided you’re in the know and an avid reader of the Koran, I’d like you to expand on the following suras and whether the text is correct or not. Whether there’s room for interpretation or if it could be even a ‚wrong’ interpretation and why ?
Sura 2, verse 191
And slay them wherever ye catch them, and turn them out from where they have turned you out; because the temptation (to disbelief) is worse than killing
Sura 4, verse 89
They wish that ye should reject Faith, as they have disbelieved, so that you will all the same. Take therefore no protector from them, as long as they do not walk on the path of Allah. And if they turn away, then take them and kill them wherever ye find them; and don’t take any of them for protectors or helpers
Are YOU walking out of this thread too ?
I was pondering a while whether to publish this post or not, though in the light of events over the past years and its culmination over the past weeks especially with IS(IS) and Hamas I'm longing for some clarification about some basics. The Koran.
