Are atheists bad persons?

So, as i read some of the threads here i stumped on some comments that targeted atheists and their lack of "moral" "compassion" and other "religious" feelings. then i searched for: "Atheists moral" on google and i saw the article above.

Surprisingly, i felt prejudice and lack of argumentation regarding being atheist and having morals.

My question is, do most religious people think atheists are bad persons? Do they respect us and our belief in facts? And of course, do you think moral/goodness are a product of religion itself?
