Camino de Santiago in August 2023

Hi! The Vegetarians and vegans group organizes the Camino de Santiago:

From August 27th to 31st we'll do the Camino de Santiago de Finisterre, an extension of the Camino de Santiago that connects Santiago de Compostela with the enigmatic Costa da Morte. An ancient journey towards the wild waters of the Atlantic Ocean that symbolized the purification and healing of the pilgrims' souls.

It is a route of only 80 kilometers and without excessive unevenness in which we will find very interesting towns, such as Ponte Maceira, listed as one of the most beautiful towns and (sunset) in Spain.

This will be our itinerary:

- From Santiago to Negreira (20km.)
- From Negreira to Santa Mariña (20km.)
- From Santa Marina to Cee Protected content
- From Cee to Fisterra Protected content

Althought this is not a difficult hike, mental and physical preparation prior the beginning of the trip are essential. This plan includes 2 months of online physical training and orientation for long hikes.

NOTE: It's not necessary to be a vegetarian to come, although we will make sure to try all the Galician vegetarian specialties.
