First all-girl rock band in Saudi Arabia

What is happening in this country? Are we to believe that the puritanical system is finally relaxing? There have been whifs of change coming out of Saudi Arabia in the last few years. A couple of things I have recently read about: there is finally a dialogue about womens' right to drive (unbelievable as it may sound); the King is talking about creating a world class co-ed university where men and women mix freely....

What would cause this extremely conservative system to liberalize quicker? Any thoughts INers?
