Furnished Rentals in Salto, Uruguay

I'm a Canadian considering Uruguay as my Retirement Destination but first want to spend a couple of months there (February & March Protected content explore the country personally and am seeking a reasonably priced furnished Apartment preferably in Salto for this period. A 1 bedroom would suffice but would want Internet WiFi at least. Have tried searching here on many sites like Booking.com and numerous others but seem to be getting nowhere with the rare possibility not allowing more than 1 month booking and at exorbitant prices. Can anyone (preferably someone in Community residing in Uruguay) help me? Thanks
