Futurism

First of all I want to congratulate You for this interisting community.

I want now to start my first conversation here talking about an art
movement born in Italy at the beginning of 20th century.
He was calling Futurism.

Futurism was an international movement founded in Protected content . This year is a centenary. It was a refreshing contrast to the weepy sentimentalism of Romanticism. The Futurists loved speed, noise, machines, pollution, and cities. Fearing and attacking technology has become almost second nature to many people today; the Futurist manifestos show us an alternative philosophy. This one is the most condivided definition.
But really Futurism was only this ?

I think the influence of the movement is larger than this. Last
century Poetry, Movies, or Industrial Design has been greatly
influenced from original idea of Filippo Tommaso Marinetti.
I think the most famous known work is: "Unique Forms of Continuity in
Space" A sculpture by Umberto Boccioni exposed at MoMA.
What do You think about Futurism ?

I want to thank You in advance for your attention.
