Healthy cultural exchanges will change the world.

I believe it, tremendously. People are just scared, they don't hang out anymore and we're pitted against each other, instead of finding real solutions to our very real global issues. Machines can take over a lot of monotonous work, we don't need insurance, marketing, advertising, a new phone every year, 10 super cars, people with buildings as houses and the mass production of weapons.

Some people don't have the resources to travel, others do, but they never really immerse themselves in the local culture, whether it's because they're afraid, language barriers, lack of interest, etc.

Couchsurfing and Airbnb are cool, but a lot of people are too freaked out to go to someone's house. So how can solve the obstacles, to get culturally diverse groups of people, to engage each other for healthy cultural exchanges?

3 things: Neutral spaces, bilingual guides and themed activities.

Small groups, half local people, half travelers, 1 hour: food, music, photography, yoga/mediation, whatever! There are hundreds if not thousands of exercises one can be interested in, relating to arts, skills and hobbies.

Museums, cultural and social centers: places with a high flow of tourism. They will host the exchanges, because it will increase their traffic while collaborating with a nonprofit cultural initiative. Hostels, hotels and other venues are available too..

Bilingual guides are volunteers from local educational systems who are studying social, art, language & other relative courses. Invaluable experience is gained, while helping a nonprofit cultural initiative...

This is a recipe, which can change the world. I've said it for over a year, I keep getting told it's too hard, I keep working harder.

We're 15 volunteers now, I started with Protected content from a friend, Feb Protected content .

If you've made it this far, and you're inspired to help us get over this final hurdle for rapid expansion, I need experienced help in: Grant writing / NGO admin management, fund-raising (our plan is actually very self-sustainable, no rent, electricity, and lots of strategic partnerships). I'll look at any and all help, to be honest ,I need to constantly be critiqued and continue to grow. If you know anyone, references are welcome.

I'm very grateful for your time, have a great evening!
Richard
