Help me find a city to call home

Hi guys!
My english is not that good, so please bear with me.
I'm brazilian, from Rio, 30 years old, and trying to decide the city which I want to live in.

I always hated the heat over here, and always loved the cold and rainy weather, but I'm not looking forward to a place where it snows half a year.
I had traveled to UK back in Protected content fell in love with Scotland.
Having a Computer Science degree and almost 10 years of experience in the area, I'm probably going to try and work with IT in the future, but I don't expect to be able to do so in the first year of my new life.
The plan is to work with warehousing or something, I'll do whatever pops up really.
I'm not much of a clubber, but I am a foodie. Also, I love to go to the movies and shopping. And I like to spend some time contemplating the views.
Would love to live in a small city or town, that has all the amenities, and is close enough from a good mid/big city.
I really don't want to live in an old house, with lots of problems... To live in a house/flat newly built or refurbished would be perfect.

To sum up, I'm looking for:
- Small city or town in the UK with all the amenities;
- Close from a big city;
- Lots of nature (beaches and/or mountains) with great views;
- Good transportation (especially trains);
- Newly built or refurbished places to rent;
- Variety of jobs available in warehouses or factories (up to 1 hour commute);
- Affordable;
- Foreign friendly;

I know that I might be looking for an utopian place, but there must be some places that tick a lot of these boxes.

By the way, some of the cities that I'm interested right now are:
- Glasgow;
- Dundee;
- Falkirk;
- Newcastle upon Tyne;
- Brighton;
- Bristol;
- Cardiff;

Thank you very much for your help.
Rafael
