Inauguration Day

I am watching the live coverage of the Inauguration on CNN. (From time to time as the work allows) and intend to listen to Obama's speech, which is expected to be the best after JFK's.
What are your thoughts on this day?
Are you one of those placing all of world's expectations on Obama?
How optimistic are you that US will change and lead the world to colossal changes?
Or is this just a culmination of a huge publicity campaign and tomorrow will be just another day of economic, political and military hardship and no miracles will follow?
