Italy Permesso di Soggiorno (Work) doubt
Hello all, With the way job markets are fluctuating, I have been having some questions about visas.
I have a masters' degree from Italy and have been working in Italy for approximately 3 years. I have permesso di soggiorno, Lav. subordinato that expires in April next year.
Now with the impending recession, I wonder what happens to my permesso if-
I lose my job in the coming months
I quit my job.
Can I stay here with my current permesso, until April, and find a new job?
Can I apply for a permesso di soggiorno, cerca di lavoro?
Or will I have to leave Italy in some time, as I will not have a job?
I really appreciate your input. Thanks a million!
