Misunderstanding other cultures

I have noticed some misconceptions prevailing about some cultures, religions, and traditions.. everyone of us has experienced explaining something misunderstood in his culture or country..to others who seem to have formed an erroneous image. On the other hand, we ourselves have had some misconcepts about others' cultures and traditions..

I am not talking here about stereotyping.. More of exchanging and sharing our experiences..and please, let's be positive ..
