Movingscam.com: a golden site. I had an horrific experience with Ocean Star International OSI : charges upped after they had my container, nearly 4 month arrival delay, threats to withhold my shipment when I asked AMEX to investigate the delay , and on arrival damage to goods (they had told me it's not worth taking out insurance!)
I am posting on movingscam.com my communications with OSI, which have become a hot topic, and I am hearing from people who post but also from people afraid to post. This co has an A rating at the BBB but it seems more and more likely it's because of pressure tactics and making people afraid to complain. I'm a journalist, so they hit the wrong person with this. Apparently Josh Evans called another client and attempted to "pressure" him not to post on movingscam.com. I suggest every person who is deciding on a shipping company look at that site!
