Planning on moving to London - Job Advice

Hi there,

I am brand new here and am wondering if anyone currently an Expat in London can provide me some advice on the job market and the best way to go landing that job.

I am Canadian but I have EU citizenship so I need not any guidance on the visa process. I am lucky enough to be able to bypass. Seriously, a godsend. I've lived in France for school so I have lived abroad before. I figure UK can only be more similar to Canada so perhaps easier?

I am hoping I could get some guidance on what websites to use when applying (should I go through an agency? If so any recommendations?), how to stand out on my CV and most importantly - how to be taken seriously even though I am not currently living in London. My plan is to line up some interviews and take a short trip over at that time. I know it's an uphill battle but I would love the change and any advice would be greatly appreciated!
