Serbian nationalism

Protected content

Serbian nationalism has been a mystery to me. We know that Milosevic realised after the fall of the Wall that blowing on the fire of nationalism could allow him to remain in power, but this dream of a “grand Serbia” just brought misery to this country, which has never been so small as now, and its neighbours.

And some still seem to persist in this “the whole world is against us” attitude.

Furthermore Kosovo is de facto (and recognised by many countries) already independent (can this small place be a country, that’s another matter) from Serbia, and its inhabitants do not want to be ruled by Belgrade. Serbian nationalism should face this reality.
