What is the Mandate of ICC

The international Criminal Court stands accused of vendetta against African leaders. Take for instance the charges against the Kenyan president Uhuru Kenyatta and his deputy president William Ruto, over the killings that happened after the disputed Protected content elections. Uhuru was then a cabinet minister and in the faction of then president Mwai Kibaki, while Ruto was in the opposition led by Raila Odinga.

While the ICC charges that the two incited their respective tribes to fight and kill, it is incomprehensible how ICC wants to fight for justice only in some parts of the world. Where is the ICC when USA drones kill thousands in various parts of the world. Where is the ICC and whats happening in Egypt? Where is the ICC yet people in the world are more and more getting free-doom as opposed to freedoms!

Pray tell me, what is the role of ICC?
