When europeans became complete slackers ?

Monitoring the latest events in the World asking myself when europeans have lost basic Idea and set of rules , which had been helping them to survive for thousand years ? Good , old times when I could write Europeans with a capital letter ?
Who could tell me when gold became priority for europeans instead of Honesty and Bravery ? At which point selling an ally for money became a descent deal ?
The Siemens selling turbines knowing for sure that it will support russian’s militaristic economy . Is Germany happy to receive money soaked in blood of Ukrainian’s children ??
France keeps supplying russians armors with electronics/sights ignoring sanctions . Making profit of somebody’s blood is not the best idea ,not mentioning old fashion meanings like Honesty and Dignity .
Are my observations wrong and I'm missing something ?
P.S. I suspect that Brits left EU, not to be part of that shitty circus .
