Health insurance (krankenkasse) (Aachen)

Hello,
I have just arrived to Germany and I am to choose an Health insurance company.
I have been suggested Techniker Krankenkasse and I have been told that there is very little difference between companies a part from the kindness of contact people, what are the other options?
What should I care for in choosing an health insurance?
