ghana card registration info (Accra)

Hi all

just wondered if anyone has heard any information on this ghanacard situation? been hearing that all expats living in ghana are going to need a ghana card instead of the work permit in the passport. ive found out what and how much but cant seem to find out when this is needed to be done by or where to get it done? any info would be very helpful as been hearing a few pople have had toruble coming back into ghana as dont have this ghana card but have no idea ho to go about it or find out anything about the legal side of things as per usual for ghana.
