Walking on Heybeliada
On this walk, we'll stroll through the charming streets of Heybeliada and begin our walk around the island while enjoying the beautiful views of the coastline and Marmara Sea.
1. Meeting point is in front of the Ferry Station.
2. Morning tea 13:00 pm
3. Walk through the forest for part of the trip and take a short rest at the half-way point to the top of the island
4. Gather on the highest peak of the island for taking in the views and some group photos
5. Walk to the (Terki World Monastery) and spend some time there
6. Begin our descent back to the town
FERRY SCHEDULE
Kabataş ferry departs at 11:05 am and arrives at 12:30 pm
Kadiköy ferry departs at 11:30 am and arrives at 12:30 pm
Bostancı ferry departs at 11:30 am (There are two ferries - arrival times vary depending upon which you take.)
The hike is expected to take about four hours (including breaks) with Protected content of ascent. This is an easy hike so anyone can attend. Wear layered clothing and don't forget your water and snacks!
