Accompanied by his ensemble musicAeterna, Currentzis offers a passionate journey through the Handelian universe, with a program that alternates arias, choruses, and orchestral excerpts from some of the composer’s most significant works: from the Baroque exuberance of The Water Music to the lyrical introspection of Theodora, passing through the dramatic intensity of Giulio Cesare and Orlando.
