CAMERATA MUSICALIS : the Carnival of the Animals

Camerata Musicalis is back with its mix of humor and music. This time, they are bringing Saint-Saëns' The Carnival of the Animals—a musical suite full of wit, humor, and orchestral color that transforms the orchestra into a sonic zoo, portraying different animals through rhythm, character, and the timbre of the instruments.

With their usual fun and casual style, maestro Edgar Martín and the musicians of Camerata Musicalis will help us discover this famous work by Saint-Saëns, composed as a musical joke for a carnival celebration among friends. During the concert, we will see how the piece laughs at, parodies, and quotes other well-known music, such as children's melodies, fragments by other composers, or even his own work.
