International Jazz Day

International Jazz Day – Tzumo Gypsy Dreams: American Dreams
On the occasion of the 15th International Jazz Day, Protected content – itself turning 20 this year – will once again present three concerts for jazz fans. The afternoon programme at the Protected content will feature the winners of the jury and audience awards of the Jazz Showcase competition. Following them at 20:00 will be the highly successful line-up Tzumo Gypsy Dreams, with the music from their new album. Tzumo Árpád Oláh found his childhood dream come true when he received a scholarship to attend what would later be called the Herbie Hancock Institute of Jazz, named after the great musician who conceived of International Jazz Day. There in New York he was able to study with the already world-famous drummer, already well established in the city, Ferenc Németh. This means that today will evoke a bit of everything of the legendary pianist, including the closing chords of the surprise ending.
Admission to the event is free of charge.
