THE HEADQUARTERS : The news and world changes. Welcome to backstage at the news – where news is made!
Those who want to learn more about media, and even design and architecture enthusiasts, will enjoy this detour to the boulevard de Grenelle beside the Seine River and the Eiffel Tower. The House headquarters is owned by a 50s newspaper group which is managed by Pierre Dufau. The building was fully restructured and renovated in Protected content the new design was commissioned to French designer Ora-ïto who wanted the building to open out onto a luminous four-level pavilion with a stunning wooden staircase.
A spectacular, sculptured staircase is the building's masterful centrepiece: it is comprised of hundreds of wooden slats which appear to pierce the building's walls. Staircase designer, Ora-Ïto, describes it as: "An enormous creature which possesses and structures the space around it with its twists and turns. It's like a whale and serpent cross-breed which gobbles you up and spits you out at the right floor."
Looking forward to this meeting and attending together.
We suggest, after the meeting, we head towards a nice café-restaurant in the neighbourhood to exchange comments.
We appreciate you having the intention to attend, please only register if you really can make it.
