Fun Event: Open Studio Between Canvas & Celluloid w/ Paige Smith
Join us for a fun art event.
Participants will learn to manipulate film celluloid using paint, ink and scratching to create moving-image paintings. Throughout this workshop, Paige will introduce cameraless filmmaking techniques exploring how to translate tactile gestures of paint brushes and pens into movement. Each participant will create a short segment, and the group's work will be stitched together and screened at the end of the workshop.
