International Cinema (& Drinks) Evening

Once again, our Vancouver Protected content is showcasing films from the 26 EU (European Union) countries, between November 14th and 28th.
So, ‘be it your first or heck, 27th EUFF, this eclectic showcase of contemporary European cinema promises something for everyone’s taste.

Tonight, we will see a thriller-drama from the Czech Republic, directed by Pavel Soukep, entitled ‘ANA IS MISSING’, i.e. “#annaismissing” (English sub-titles are always included).

The story revolves around Anna, a controversial influencer, and best known for her provocative online content, but suddenly she goes silent and stops posting any updates. When Nina finds a half-naked photo of Anna on her dad's cellular phone, she decides to track down Anna. The shocking events that follow will change not only Nina’s life but also her family’s.
