Row "da boat". Visit to the "sailors' church"
Once upon a time, people left France to settle in Montreal and since Notre Dame du Bon Secours was often the first dry and steady step for newcomers in the country, they'll go to that church to pray for their fortune. Sailors commissioned boat models to be hung in the chapel as ex votos as a token of appreciation. Even Montreal's bishop ffered a Stella Maris, a statue of the Virgin Mary as the Star of the Sea.
Not only would this place be nice for uncommon church pictures, but also, we'll learn about...well, ships. ;) Bonus points: It has an amazing lookout!
a) Bring comfortable shoes and dress according to the weather, we'll be going up some stairs.
b) Bring cash to pay the fee. They might take cards, but just in case.
