Another unavoidable summer show is the Montreal symphonic orchestra free concert. This year on the menu, we have pieces by Tchaikovsky, Berlioz, Respighi and Tawadros.

These kind of massive events require us to get there an hour earlier to grab a good spot. The concert officially starts at 7:30 pm. IT IS NOT ADVISABLE getting there CLOSE TO THE START time because it will be extremely crowded and hard to find the group. If you can, I suggest you get there at 6 pm or 6:30 pm the latest.

How to enjoy the show? Take note of the following elements:

1. Bring a blanket or a camping chair to sit on the cement floor.
2. Bring a sweater in case it gets chilly.
3. Bring snacks for you and/or to share.
4. Arrive early.
5. Please note that the metro gets crowded after the concert. Plan for an alternative mode of transport or for some extra walking.
